Battery Charger for the HK450 heli

I personally use the Turnigy Accucel 6 charer

Why?
Multiple reasons
1. It can Charge the many different types of batteries all the way from my tiniest little single cell batteries that are for heli blades all the way up to 6 cell configurations and high amps.
2. It can discharge the batteries, why you say? Because if you want to test the rating of a battery then this allows you to see if you have lost capacity.
3. It can charge up to 5A continuous and it is cooled by a fan
4. It has a cell by cell display letting you know the condition of each cell or as a total.
5. There is a fast charge rate you can use
6. Programmable functions, so you can set all you battery types up and then simply select the one you are charging from the menu.
Oh and it balance charges the batteries perfectly, and has a timer on it that can be used for timed charging or as an indicator to how long it takes to charge your batteries.
It doesn’t come with a power supply, but I used an old laptop power supply 15v 5A and it works a treat.
So get this one or something similar, but remember we only need 3cell for a 450 heli battery and this can do from 1cell up to 6cell batteries perfect if you ever go to a very very large heli that has 6 cells, the monster heli’s that dwarf the 450 heli’s.
All in all it’s the best priced charger I have ever found.
