HK450

My name is Elias Gourvelos, most know me as EatAtJoes in the RCgroups Forum.

Some time ago I revisited my passion for flying RC Helicopters, especially since the price of Heli’s has become so much more affordable than it ever has been in the past.

I initially started by buying a small helicopter which I quickly out grew. I then went into collective pitch and increased in size till I settled on the 450 Size.
A friend directed me to a web site which had the cheapest 450 helicopter anyone could hope to find, at $35 or so US dollars you get an entry level 450 heli known as the HK450 namely because its from Hobby King and it’s a 450 Heli.

I purchased one along with the electronics and simply added to my fleet since then.

In the process of building and modifying the heli, I found out so much about this class of heli, with the help of many other sites and forums along with extensive research and my background in Electrical Engineering I managed to select what I believe to be a solid electrical setup that would suffice for most people flying this heli.

I am simply supplying everyone who visits the site a base platform for them to build from. I don’t say that my suggestions are the best, but I can say if you use what I suggest here on this site then you will have a heli the same as mine.

I will be providing graphs, measurements, diagnostic results and so forth, this is mainly from my Eagle Tree Logger.

None the less I want you all to enjoy my web site of information and the material that is not my own I will simply state who has made the document / video / article.
